Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the ELTA Courier Shopify application ("the App"), operated by Dimitrios Spanakis ("I", "me"), collects, uses, and protects your information when you install and use the App through the Shopify platform.

When you install and use the App, I access the following data from your Shopify store: • Store information: Your store domain name and Shopify session data, used to authenticate and operate the App. • Order information: Order details including order numbers, line items, quantities, and fulfillment status — used to generate shipping vouchers and create fulfillments. • Customer shipping information: Recipient name, address, city, postcode, country, phone number, and email — used solely to generate ELTA Courier shipping labels for order fulfillment. • Merchant configuration: Sender address details, ELTA API credentials, and App preferences that you enter in the Settings page — stored to operate the shipping service on your behalf.

Your information is used exclusively to: • Generate ELTA Courier shipping vouchers and labels for your orders. • Create Shopify fulfillments with tracking information. • Display voucher status and history within the App. • Maintain your App configuration and preferences. I do not use your data for marketing, advertising, analytics, or any purpose unrelated to the App's shipping functionality.

Your data is shared only with: • ELTA Courier: Recipient shipping details are transmitted to the ELTA Courier API to generate shipping vouchers and labels. This is the core function of the App. • Shopify: The App reads from and writes to your Shopify store via the Shopify Admin API (fulfillments, metafields, order data). I do not sell, rent, or share your data with any other third parties.

App data (voucher records, your configuration) is stored in a database associated with the App's hosting infrastructure. ELTA API credentials are stored securely and will be encrypted at rest in production. I implement reasonable technical measures to protect your data, but no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

Your data is retained for as long as the App is installed on your store. Voucher records are kept to provide you with shipment history. When you uninstall the App, your configuration data and session are deleted. Voucher records may be retained for a reasonable period for record-keeping purposes before deletion.

You have the right to: • Access the personal data the App holds (visible in your App dashboard). • Request correction of inaccurate data. • Request deletion of your data by uninstalling the App or contacting me directly. • Withdraw consent at any time by uninstalling the App. For EU/EEA users (GDPR) and California users (CCPA), the above rights apply in full. The App processes customer data solely as a data processor on your behalf — you remain the data controller for your customers' information.

The App does not use cookies, analytics trackers, or any client-side tracking technologies. Session authentication is handled entirely by Shopify's platform.

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
